Lacee and Lupe came home New Years Eve Night with Brutus. He was wondering around and they were sure he was lost. Brutus became our pup (well, full grown Boxer) until this morning about 11 a.m. Of course the animal control and animal shelter were both on holiday. Brutus had a name tag with phone number, but no license. We called the number from the time we got him, but no answer, no answering machine or voice mail. So we had to keep him until the shelter opened this morning at 10 a.m. Lacee gave Brutus one more walk before we were going to leave and we both hated the thought of leaving him there...he was well mannered, trained and definitely a house dog! So, Lacee called the number on his name tag one more time and someone answered and they were missing Brutus! We delivered him home, and found out he had 2 Yorkshire sisters, and a loving family waiting for him!! We found out that they had moved their phone and forgot to plug it in until today!! A very happy ending to this story!Saturday, January 2, 2010

Christmas 2009
The Yokley Christmas was great, but of course it would have been even more fabulous if all the kids could have come home. Here are a few of my favorite photos.

Candid Shots (Corry & Christina's Shoot)
These are the shots in between the shot...more candid even though posed. I happen to like the last one...when giving the command to kiss as I do with couple shoots, it was too awkward for Corry to do so (coming from his mother), and this is what he chose to do on his own. It makes me laugh!
Thanksgiving 2009

The top 2 photos are of Thanksgiving #1. We shared it at our friend's, the Weed's, on Thanksgiving day. Cliff and Dave fell asleep right after the meal while watching football. Saturday, we had Thanksgiving #2 here with Corry and Christina (Corry had to work Thanksgiving Day). The last photo is Corry Skyping Ashlee and Margo with our webcam...it's pretty neat!!!

Eastman Lake Campout (Oct.23-25, 2009)
These are a few of my favorite photos of the trip...it was a perfect weekend camping trip get-away with 80 degree weather, plenty of wildlife, lots of R&R, delicious grub and perfect company. God certainly gave us wonderful memories this weekend. If you would like to see the video, click on the title "Eastman Lake Campout".
