Washing Dog Day!

We had a pretty warm day yesterday (Saturday) at 93 degrees, and it was decided that it would be a great day to wash the dogs. Bailey got special attention from Maycin...Although I don't think Bailey much cared about anything, but escaping the whole event.

Maycin "Play Park"

Maycin had an asthma attack a week ago and it has been slow going for him to recover. But, on Friday we went to the "play park" as he calls it (playground/park), to let him enjoy a little activity. It wasn't long, though, before we had to return home and hook him up to his nebulizer ( have no idea if I'm spelling that right), so he could breath easy again.

Photography, the art! I think I was made for it. Even as a child I loved to take pictures, but now, it's a passion. It brings me great joy. I know, I know...I do take a lot of pictures. Just ask my family and close friends, who I practically beg to practice on. I'm getting my grandson trained at an early age. I have learned that all I have to do is ask, and he pretty much is open to the idea now, having his picture taken. He likes to view them after our mini photo shoots, for sure. Cliff has completely learned to ignore me since he is with me most of the time and he is the one that is practiced on the most. All the better for those candid shots! My older kids...they tolerate me. But, recently I have found the pleasure of photographing teens. They are fresh and creative. I tell them to have fun with it...they are uninhibited.

These little cuties are called Snowy Plover. They are a protected beach bird and one that will capture your heart, especially when they scurry across the sand!

My husband and I were fortunate enough to join some friends at Parajo Dunes this last weekend. The weather (although started out rainy), company and God's creation made it a perfect mini vacation. Enjoy the photos!

I'm All About Fun!

This is the way I like to live my life. Now don't get me wrong, we have to be serious sometimes, but there is a lot to say about being goofy and laughing...a lot! It keeps you healthy and boy is it fun to be around someone that doesn't take life so seriously.
